Why we’re obsessed with ceramic tile heating

If you’ve been around long enough to recall the first time you’ve heard of ceramic tile, it’s likely because it was used in the homes of early settlers.

And while it’s technically an old-world heating method, it was one that we’ve come to associate with something much more modern, namely the kind of concrete-and-glass kitchen appliances we’ve grown to associate more with modern homes.

So if you’re like us, it may come as a bit of a shock to learn that the ceramic tile method we know and love is actually based on an old Chinese tradition.
